...the more German I become!
One thing the expanded tree turned up this week:
I knew of an Altona, Hamburg connection in our tree – and had convinced myself that this was Danish (not German) due the dates involved. But have recently uncovered a vast German connection (which really shouldn't have surprised me considering my grandfather's name was Otto).
The Scottish and Irish connections were expected, naively not the German ones
